Registration ready and other good news
After masterful work by the support team for the Web site, the registration form is functional once more. Also we have two more confirmed speakers. Tawd Bell from Columbus and Sarah Thompson from Elkhart, Ind. will be presenting in the Christianity, Anarchism and Black Liberation session. We hope to post their bios in the next few days.

Conference flyers ready and waiting
Head over to the outreach section of the site to download one or more of the three flyers for this year's conference. There's an anarchist flag, a globe and a bullhorn. Mix and match, post them up, e-mail them to friends, spread the word.

Spoke to soon... Well, it seems like there are still a few bugs to work out with the registration form. In the meantime, please e-mail nekeisha [at] jesusradicals.com with your name, e-mail address, lodging needs and any dietary restrictions you have. You will be able to choose what sessions you want at the event. Sorry for the inconvenice.

Registration form up and running... Thanks for your patience if you were trying to register over the last week or so. After many, many (did I say many) hours of working with the support team for the site hosting company, the registration form seems to be up and running again. It worked best for me in Firefox, so if you have it you might want to use it. If you have any problems registering, don't hesitate to e-mail me at nekeisha [at] jesusradicals.com.

Session switcheroo. . .
As usual, planning a conference often involves flexibilty and a little bit of moving things around. As such, we've moved the Jesus' Beatitudes session to Saturday morning and the Christianity and the Nation State session to Friday afternoon. Check the session list for more details and please note: if you've registered already there's no need to do it again.

Session and speaker update
Unfortunately, we recently had to cancel the Christian Anarchism in America session. However, we are pleased that we were able to replace it with a session titled Jesus' Beatitudes: A Blueprint for Anarchists, which will be led by D. John Lee. Check out the speaker and session section for more information.

We've got housing... (and more)
A limited number of bed and couch spaces are currently available for this year's event. If you registered already and indicated that you want an indoor space, we'll save you a spot. If you discover you aren't able to make, e-mail nekeisha [at] jesusradicals.com so I can make the slot available to someone else. We've also added another new speaker to the roster. Martha Hennessey, Dorothy Day's seventh grandchild, will be presenting the plenary session Dorothy Day: Portrait of a Catholic Worker. We are excited that she'll be able to join us for this event.

Conference planning humming along
Since the site launched a few weeks ago we've been pleased to confirm three more speakers and sessions. We are still working on more specific housing information but it looks like there are several folks in Columbus who may generously offer to host. Stay tuned for more details on that. Finally we've been blessed to have pulled in some funds from conference CD sales to cover expenses. With gas prices going through the roof (thanks a lot oil moguls) we'd like to be able to give our speakers a little something for their travel. If you are able, check out the donation page to see a more complete budget.

Please continue to check out this page for updates as the weeks go by and, if you are able, help us fund the event by visiting the donation page.
Peace
